TIME & Location

This year, Cru will be hosting our second annual bubble soccer tournament for college students across Pittsburgh. Sixteen (16) teams comprised of three (3) to four (4) students will face off in a single-elimination, 3 vs 3* tournament format.

*Update 10/6: Due to the number of teams signed up so far, we will play in a 3v3 format, rather than a 5v5
Bubble soccer is a sport where soccer is played in giant plastic orbs or "bubbles", making it more fun and accessible to every student. The objective of bubble soccer is to score in your opponent’s net and knock each other down while trying.

This event its FREE to all students. Bubbles, soccer goals, soccer balls and cones will all be provided.

    Register a Team

All teams must register for the tournament in advance to be guaranteed a spot. Space permitting, day of registration is allowable. Please submit your request to play in the tournament by completing the fields below. Team registration requests will be reviewed and processed on a first-come first-serve basis so be sure to register your team quickly.

Note: Only ONE request is necessary per team. Whoever it is that fills out the registration will automatically be Team Captain and the direct contact between the team and the Commissioner.
Cru is committed to assuring that its programs are free from discriminatory, inappropriate, and disrespectful conduct or communication; therefore we reserve the right to disallow any team name that we feel may be unacceptable due to a racial, sexual, or is otherwise degrading in nature. We ask that all team names, upon submittal, not contain profanity and/or not be racial or sexually explicit in nature. In the event we need to remove a team name we will simply change the team name to the Captain’s last name and provide the opportunity for the team to change their name.
In an effort to make this event fun and accessible to every student, we recognize some might want to play more for fun, while others prefer a more competitive match. Please select which preference best represents your team.
Teams require a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 7, including the Captain. If a team fails to register within these guidelines their request is subject to be delayed.
